An awareness meeting on sexual and reproductive health has been held in Jelekhali Munda Para of Ward No. 3 in Munshiganj Union No. 7 of Satkhira Shyamnagar Upazila and Manikkhali Das Para No. 6 of Ramzannagar Union No. 5. A non-governmental organization providing developmental services which is approved by the NGO Bureau. An awareness meeting on sexual and reproductive health was held among 20 coastal Dalit backward community youth and women aged 18-30 at Munda Para on Saturday, May 18. Sexual and reproductive health issues were discussed by Ambia Khatun, Program Officer of Soil Association, Jamuna Mrinda, Field Officer, and others. Reproductive health care, physical changes, and emotional changes are discussed. Apart from this, 20 youths and women from the Munda backward community were present, Ruma Munda of Jailkhali Ward No. 3 said about sexual and reproductive health, some physical changes are seen during puberty, girls’ breasts get bigger, menstruation occurs, girls look beautiful.
