Preface
The south coastal region, Khulna, Jessore and Satkhira are deficits an acute socio ecological complexities, Where gradually people are becoming powerless, socioeconomically marginalized and vulnerable. The complexity lies in the fragility of coastal and mangrove ecosystem and fluctuating socio economic life pattern caused by number of ecologically inconsistent developmental intervention and land use practice, which has affected and had left negative impact on the socio economic, cultural, forestation, political, environment, lives on the social community, systematic widespread violation of human, woman, social, economic and political rights on the community had serious adverse impact on food and livelihood security and is integration of family structure. Insecurity of livelihood and mass scale occupational displacement have development opportunities trend with male members of that region to take advantage of the situation. However, in this situation, Mittrika is working on disable development, forestation, gender development, prevention of woman and child trafficking, agriculture, climate change, disaster management, prevention of early marriage and dowry, health, training program etc. that have changed positively of the society. I know thanks to the Executive Committee and General Committee. Time to time, they have observed and monitor the organization all activities and advised us to implement the project smoothly. Endly, I know thanks to Mr. Aktural Alam, Adviser, MITTRIKA who helped the organization to collect the fund from the donor agency. Always, I wish to help from the grass roots level to top level staffs to direct and implement the all activities in the target area.
